The grandfather passed away at approximately 11.45pm last night. Alhamdullilah, the funeral went smoothly. No glitches. Thank you to all my friends who smsed me. God bless you.

Boyfriend attended the funeral and the kenduri as well. Thank you for being there and staying cool despite everyone asking "Whose son is that??? " *tired laugh*

InsyaAllah, I'll be back tomorrow. Back to work.

The grandfather is in hospital. Critical condition. Stroke. Wanna hear the "best part"?

He's not in the ICU. Why you might ask? Oh, because he's already 81. If in ICU, the doctors will resuscitate but not in the ward. So given his old age, they wont put him in the ICU.

Doctor: If the patient is 16 yrs old, we'll put him in the ICU cause chances of recovery very high. But because he's old, the mortality rate is high.

Brilliant lah Doctor. Very good ah... So thats how it works. If patient is old, do not treat patient aggressively. Let him die. Well done Doc! *pats back*

*&^$#%&* I know he's in critical condition and I'm actually prepared to see him go. But not like this. Not when he is treated so unfairly. Not when the doctors are not putting in their best effort. Why cant he have access to the so called "world class health services"? Bloody doctor. If its his own father, I tell you... he'll probably be ordering all kind of tests and administering all kinds of expensive drugs. *^*&%^$

If he does make it through the night, I hope Angah can come soon. Wanna know a sad fact? You'll get "special treatment" if you have relatives who are doctors. Seriously, the last time my grandfather got admitted, the specialists were discussing his case and we over heard them say...

Specialist : Patient is 80 yrs old. Suffering from....... Granddaughter is a doctor.

So? So if no doctors in the family, its green light for you to slack is it? Aiyoh, what the hell lah. That goes to show the only reason you guys are putting in effort is because if you guys do make mistakes, we will know.

Oh man. Im so pissed. Im so bloody pissed. There's only one thing to say..

First class facilities + Third class brains/attitude = Third class hospital

*puik*

As I am writing this entry, the world is spinning. And my head hurts. Yours truly fall down while taking a shower.

Note to self : No dancing or prancing around in the washroom. And... my mom put the slippers there for a reason.

Ben calls it divine intervention for skipping class. Plus, I'm missing the second lesson of my HR module. Darn it. Its sectional teaching so attendance is compulsory.

But I dont care already... Im giddy so I need to rest.

In school now, having a 20 minutes break from my 3 hour lecture. 6 pm - 9pm. *pulls hair*

Guess what? I think there's gonna be another change in the excavation method. We might be doing the top bottom construction after all. weeee.. Personally, I'm all up for it because the other 4 groups will be following the prof's method. I feel that we should do something different.

Ah... penat penat penat! And its only the 2nd week of school. Uurrgh~

Accompanied boyfriend for his appointment today. Woke up at 8am when he called and as first I said its too late for me to get ready. But mom told me to shower while she ironed out my clothes. "Poor H, must go alone. Follow him lah"

*toing*

And before I left the house, mom gave me some food to pass to boyfriend. wahahaha... No wonder boyfriend calls himself the third child.

Right... Anyway, had the project meeting again today. Two days in a row the SAF guy is missing. *bleah* Told Irfan to delegate some work to him. The rest of us can figure out how to work the PLAXIS program.

And there has been a change in the design. We wanted to do a top-bottom construction but Ben said it would be too hard to calculate. So they decided on a bottom-up, using struts.. thinking that it would be easier right? But.... we're still stuck. How to position the struts? *scratch head*

You know what irritates me? When people keeps complaining how little time we have or how much work we have.. while working. I mean, I know we dont have much time but complaining and frowning doesnt help. And when I tell you to "Chill out", what I actually wanted to say is "Reminding me how much time we have doesnt help. In fact, its distracting. Kindly freak out at your own time."

Some people really cant manage their stress well. If you cant even handle a project, how are you gonna handle working life?

How do you build an underground basement carpark without using any struts to support the earth retaining structure during excavation? *sweats* The 4 of us managed to find a way, but whether it would be accepted and approved by the prof is another thing. Sians... Lets hope it'll be okie because we dont really know what else to do.

Anyway, boyfriend fetched me from school today eventhough I ended at 9 pm. Tsk tsk tsk, I'm becoming spoilt. Cannot be having boyfriend meeting me after school and sending me home often. I might just get use to it. *shakes head* Oooooh,we went to west coast again to eat dinner. *rubs tummy* At this rate, I'll gain weight for sure. Argghhh...

Thankfully.. hehehe... my kickboxing class starts this week! So exciting! I've been wanting to join these classes since year 1 but well, you guys know how my life was like. *shivers* Cant really remember much about my past life. I've happily suffering from selective amnesia. hehehe...

Right, I have to sleep early today. Gonna accompany the boyfriend for his checkup tomorrow morining.

Good night!

Stayed home the whole day due to the sore eyes and the splitting headache. Even skipped tuition.

But after Maghrib, I met boyfriend for a while. Went to westmall to get him a new bag and then to west coast hawker centre. I can never say no to west coast~ hehehehe...

My eyes are still hurting. I think its infected or something. Due to my contacts. Sigh... So I have to wear my nerdy specs to school for the whole of next week. darn it.

*yawn*

I skipped Mendaki tuition. Nevermind. Too tired after last night. My cousins wanted to know more about the history of singapore take pictures of the merlion and stuff. So we brought them to

1) Sentosa... at 11.30pm. I really like one of the beaches. The sand is so soft. According to Boyfriend, its artificial sand. Me and Ila were walking in front and we left the guys behind. One minute they were few hundred metres away and the next they were right behind us. Gave me a fright.

2) Mount Faber...

3) Esplanade...

4) Arab Street... Went to Samar again. Reached at 2.30am so we cant go upstairs. Darn it. But nonetheless, the 4 of us had fun chatting.

Once again, I had the chance to smoke the sheesha but I didnt. And the cousins were trying to make me try it. Firdaus even said " oh go on, we wont tell mak ngah" Hahaha... Nice try but no thank you. I have a problem with the idea of smoking. But surprisingly, I found boyfriend very macho what he huffed and puffed. *drools* We left the place at about 3.45am...

Reached home only at 5am cause we had to sent the cousins back to woodlands, fill up the petrol tank and made a stopover by the expressway to.... *beep beep beep*

Hehehe... totally enjoyable night. Get to go out at night with the boyfriend to all these places. FUN!

oppss.. gotta go get ready for the ceremony...

I should better start reading the two text but no mood. Urmm.. Foundation Engineering and Excavation Methods. Whaaaaat? Bleah.. dont even wanna think about it.
I'll suffer the whole of tomorrow. Tonight I'll just golek-golek. teehee!

After the group meeting, rushed to the HR sectional teaching. This is how much faith they have in us engineers - we are all required have to read a Human Relations module.

Sigh, Im in a grumpy mood today. And I expect I'll be in a foul mood for quite some time. So I would like to apologise in advance to anyone for being snappy. But if you deserve being snapped at, forget it. The apology does not apply to you. :P

Good night. Have to sleep early.

Im bloody tired and its only the third day of school.

1. tuition at cck at 10.30am
2. reached school for lunch at 12.30am
3. design project briefing from 2pm to 4pm. Note: no breaks at all
4. rushed to the construction site right after the briefing
5. made my way back to school for my 6pm lecture
6. lecture ended one hour earlier at 8pm

After the lecture ended, Liyana, Karina and myself made our way back to LT 7A. Have a dinner date with boyfriend! Weeee. Been looking forward to this the whole day. When Yana knew the boyfriend was coming over to fetch me, she was like.. "okie okie! i wanna see i wanna meet him". And when she needed to go to the washroom she said " wait for me ah... dont go off first. I wanna see him" hahahahahaha.. funny lah...

Anyway at West Coast, I met F's friend who also happened to be my neighbour. Now when this samdul saw me, he said something to his friends and they all turned to look at us. Eh eh ... Helloooo~ Got problem is it. Go fly kite lah! Boyfriend said next time I should have just used his helmet to bash the guy. Fierce sey...

But despite that, I had a very nice dinner. We ate beef steak and porridge and satay and some yu chao kuew. Is that how you spell it? Hehehe... And when we reached my place, we bought some ice cream as well. Nice~

Okie then, now that I've blogged... I have to start googling for the different excavation designs available.

Oh yah!!!And guess what, I've enrolled in kickboxing! haha... 10 weeks of kicking and punching, kicking and punching. I figured it'll be beneficial

1. I need the exercise.
2. 4th year is going to be tough. I would need to channel my frustration.
3. With out timetables, boyfriend and I wont be meeting much. I need to occupy my
time.
4. Maybe then I'll finally learn how to defend myself.

Okie then...have to sleep! Group meeting tomorrow morning...

Any sign of straying, and you'll end things.

You've loved, lost, and loved again.
You have had a wide range of love experiences.
And when the real thing comes along, you know it!

Currently in the VI Lab doing my research for an assigment Prof Chua gave out out yesterday. Yesterday! During my very first lecture of the academic year. *stress*

Have another hour more to go before I have to leave for tuition. I still feel uneasy. Hopefully the kids behave themselves today or else I'll be blasting them off today. No mood to tolerate their rude behavior. One would think an army officer would have kids who are more disciplined and obedient. *snorts* yeah right...

Anyway Boyfriend.... if you're reading this, thank you so much for being there for me. I still cant figure the reason for last night's outburst but thank you. *hugs hugs hugs* And again, I'm sorry for making you worry and travelling all the way. *sheepish smile*

Muacks!

Woah.. there are some 4th years doing work in the VI Lab now too. *stress* Better start working my ass off this semester. Gotta go...

My first day of school. Had a 6pm lecture. The class was filled with civil engineers, mostly foreigners. Sucks lah. Of course they can answer the lecturer's questions. Oh yah... and there's this QS who is sooo darn irritating. Everytime the lecturer said something, she'll laughed out loud. And its not even funny. What the hell. At one time, this other malay mat actually went "SHHHHHH.." wahaha.. that guy very fierce. Scary...Lets hope other module is not as stressful as this one.

Anyway, the first person I saw in the seminar room was my FYP partner. He was wearing this grey baju kurung top I think. Thought he looked good so I complimented him.

Me: Hey... You look good today. Whats the occasion?
Him: Urrrmmm.. actually my friend's grandfather just died so I...
Me: *stunned* eerrrmmm, oh... innaIllah...

*smacks head*

Note to self : Do not compliment a malay guy who wears baju kurung on days other than friday.

Other than this embarassing incident, the day was okie. Bought a second hand Financial Accounting for my lecture tomorrow. Then walked all the way to West Coast Park to take 176 home. Thats a long long way. If I keep taking 176, I reckon I'll lose a bit of weight. :P

Oh crap, need to email my FYP supervisor. Im off~

"What guys want us girls to know" -Got this while I was surfing for quizzes...

1. Guys hate sluts. - correction... guys dont marry sluts. but they still go out with them all the same. *roll eyes*

2. "Hey, are you busy?" or "Are you doing something?" ~ two phrases guys open with to stop from stammering on the phone.

3. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about. - *snort* you serious or not?

4. Before they call, guys try to plan out a little about what they're gonna say so there aren't awkward pauses, but once he's on the phone he forgets it all and makes it up as he goes.

5. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

6. Guys will do anything just to get you to notice him.

7. Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend or ex love-interest. Unless they're goin for the let-her-complain-to-you-and-then-have-her-realize-how-wonderful-and-nice-you-are method. - oooo boyfriend, was that the method you're going for? hehe...

8. A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.

9. Boyfriends need to be reassured often that they're still loved. - woah! really?

10. Don't talk about your guy friends to your boyfriend. He wont like it.

11. Guys get jealous easily. - na 'ah.. not mine (i hope)

12. Guys are more emotional than they'd like people to think.

13. Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?!..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out. - im guilty of this. i do it sometimes just to give boyfriend something to worry about. hehe...

14. Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.

15. Guys hate asking parents for money to buy girls presents. So they come up with ideas like saving their lunch money for a week. But it never works because guys are always hungry so they end up asking the parents for money anyway.

16. Girls are guys' weaknesses. - so true...

17. Guys are very open about themselves. - yes! hello.. they are something i rather not know okie...

18. It's good to test a guy first before you trust him. But don't let him wait too long.

19. Your best friend, whom your boyfriend seeks help from about his problems with you may end up being admired by your boyfriend.

20. If a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him. You don't need to give advice.

21. A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you. - what is this? primary school?

22. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships. - sodeska... thats explains alot...

23. Guys will brag about anything.

24. Guys use words like hot or cute to describe girls. We rarely use beautiful. If a guy uses that, he likes you. - *blush*

25. Guys think WAY too much. One small thing a girl does, even if she doesn't notice it can make the guy think about it for hours, trying to figure out what it meant. - its mutual. girls overthink too.

26. Guys seek for advice from girls not other guys. Because most guys think alike, so if one guy's confused, then we're all confused.

27. Any guy could write out a rulebook or advice book for flirting, but no guy can write out a book about relationships.

28. Try to be as straightforward as possible.

29. A guy has to experience rejection, because if he's too-good-never-been-busted, never-been in-love-and-hurt, he won't be mature and grown up. - Amen!

30. If the guy does something stupid in front of the girl, he will think about it for the next couple days or until the next time he spends time with the girl.

31. No matter how much guys talk about asses and boobs, personality is key. - *double snort* oh puh-lease...

32. Guys learn from experience not from the romance books that girls read and take as their basis of experience.

33. Guys worry about the thin line between being compassionate and being whipped.

34. If a guy looks unusually calm and laid back, he's probably faking it and is spazzing inside.

35. When a guy says he is going crazy about the girl, he really is. Guys rarely say that.

36. When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, "Please come and listen to me."

37. Guys don't really have final decisions. - so if he says 'you're the one', thats not the final decision??? oh crap.

38. If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know something's up.

39. If your best guy friend seems to avoid you or is never around when you're with your boyfriend, he's probably jealous and likes you.

40. When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking something.

41. Guys like femininity not feebleness.

42. Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do. - how about those who pinches and bites harder than they do? hehehe

43. A guy has more problems than you can see with your naked eyes.

44. Don't be a snob. Guys can be intimidated and give up easily.

45. Everything in moderation. Put on makeup, wear perfume. Just not too much.

46. Guys talk about girls more than girls talk about guys.

47. Guys hate rejection, but they hate being led on even more.

48. A guy would give his left nut to be able to read a girl's mind for a day. - the left nut? really?

49. No guy can handle all his problems by his own. He's just too stubborn to admit it.

50. Not all guys are assholes. Just because ONE is a jackass doesnt mean he represents ALL of us. - i so agree with this one. say it with me girls... not ALL men are assholes. MOST are but not all. hehehe...

Hmmm... Nothing much to bitch about 'cause YellowElephant is contented and happy. So lets wait till school starts ya. Im sure I have more to write about then.

Oh yah, I realised I never put up pics. Why oh why oh why. So here's a few pics I took on my birthday... Lunch/Dinner at TGI Friday JB is a must I tell you. The servings are huge!!! If boyfriend cannot finish the food, that means its a lot!

Gold Medallist... Heaven! Few seconds after this pic was taken, boyfriend stole the banana and strawberry. tsk tsk tsk...

Double Fudge something something... absolutely delicious! Too bad we were too full.

okie, nothing better to do than take a pic of the serviette while waiting for the bill... hehe
