Soon, the two of them became friends. They would talked about their past, their fears, their worries. They would have dinner and he would walk her home, right to her doorstep. When she wanted to call it a night, he would say "Hang on. Lets stand out here for a bit and enjoy the breeze" And so they would stand outside, just talking about everything and anything. It came to a point whereby he would only leave at around 6 in the morning.
It was during one of these nights, that the girl told the guy that she decided to remain to remain single for a long, long time. He was appalled at this notion and totally disapproved of the idea.
Girl : I've made up my mind. I dont think I wanna get married because I dont think there's a guy out there for me.
Guy : What the hell~ Tell you what, by the time you're 28, if you're unmarried, I'll gladly marry you.
A pact was made.
